The Biography of Ms. Sheronda R. Brown
Owner of Resolutions 4 People
Sheronda Brown is the owner of Resolutions 4 People, a healthcare agency providing in-home, consumer-directed services (CDS), veterans and Healthy Children and Youth program (HCY) services for individuals that require one-on-one services in their homes. Formerly the Director of Marketing for Northview Village Nursing Home, the largest nursing home in the St. Louis north city area, she is well known in the long-term care industry and across the Missouri Region.
Educational Background and Early Career
Before Sheronda joined the long-term care industry, she graduated from Webster University with a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Business Administration, with emphasis in marketing, leadership, and management. She then worked in the insurance industry as a contract manager, claims processor, and provider relations rep. for 20 years. She also has been serving as an adjunct professor for 10 years now here in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.
Honors and Industry Recognition
Sheronda has received recognition from various organizations. She represented St. Louis at the 2nd annual African American Leadership Summit, which was held in Washington D.C. in April of 2004 made possible by U.S. Senator Jim Talent. She also serves as Co-Chair for the Jeff Vander Lou (JVL) initiative program.
Sheronda’s Commitment to the Community
Dedicated to touching the lives of seniors and disabled people in the community, Sheronda will always be the voice of seniors and disabled people, ensuring that they are treated with respect, dignity, and equality. Her passion for seniors and disabled people is immeasurable. This compassion is also shown through the Good Days Journey Mental Health Foundation (GDJ), her own charity foundation.
Sheronda also works with the young adult population, helping them set long-term goals and inspiring them with her life story. She is always willing to give seminars, lectures, and home visits to educate the families about various resources that are available to them and their children.
She has also been able to raise over $50,000.00 yearly to help with supplying coats and food items for needy families during the Christmas Holiday Season.
Sheronda in Her Spare Time
In her spare time, Sheronda enjoys spending quality time with her only child and beautiful daughter, Elise. Elise graduated from Lane College in Jackson, TN on July, 2012 then Graduated from Strayer University in Atlanta, GA June, 2017 with her MBA. Elise is currently enrolled at Howard University receiving her Ph.D. in Education of Operations with an emphasis in Behavioral Health. Sheronda is very excited to see Elise continue her Education and, how she’s becoming a valuable advocate for her Generation.
